109-12-6, 2-Aminopyrimidine is a useful research compound. Its molecular formula is C4H5N3 and its molecular weight is 95.1 g/mol. The purity is usually 95%.
2-Aminopyrimidine is an organic compound that belongs to the group of pyridines. It has been shown to have antimicrobial, antitumor, and antiviral properties. 2-Aminopyrimidine has been used as a fungicide and herbicide in horticulture and agriculture, respectively. The molecular geometry of this molecule is octahedral with coordination geometry C2v. This chemical binds to the BCR-ABL kinase receptor and inhibits its activity by competitive inhibition of ATP binding. 2-Aminopyrimidine has been shown to have a hematologic response in vivo models and in vitro assays. It also has anti-inflammatory effects when it is taken orally or applied topically., HPLC of Formula: 109-12-6

The systematic study of pyrimidines began in 1884 with Pinner, who synthesized derivatives by condensing ethyl acetoacetate with amidines. Pinner first proposed the name “pyrimidin” in 1885. 109-12-6, formula is C4H5N3, Name is Pyrimidin-2-amine. The parent compound was first prepared by Gabriel and Colman in 1900, by conversion of barbituric acid to 2,4,6-trichloropyrimidine followed by reduction using zinc dust in hot water. HPLC of Formula: 109-12-6.

El-Sayed, Yusif;Gaber, Mohamed;El-Wakeil, Nadia;Abdelaziz, ahmed;El-Nagar, Asmaa research published 《 Metal complexes of azo mesalamine drug: Synthesis, characterization, and their application as an inhibitor of pathogenic fungi》, the research content is summarized as follows. A novel azo dye ligand, formed by the coupling of 5-aminosalycalic acid (mesalamine drug) with 2-amino pyrimidine (H2L) and its Co2+, Ni2+, and Cu2+ complexes, was synthesized. The structures of ligand and its complexes were described by elemental anal., inductively coupled plasma (ICP), TGA, magnetic moment measurements, molar conductance, UV-visible, x-ray powder diffraction, IR, 1H-NMR, 13C NMR, and electron impact (EI) mass spectral studies. The obtained data detected that the H2L ligand acts as monobasic tridentate via C:N, azo nitrogen, and deprotonated OH groups. The data supported the formation of 1:2 (M:L) for Co2+ complex, while Ni2+ and Cu2+ gave 1:1 (M:L) complexes mononuclear formulation. The Co2+ and Ni2+ complexes have octahedral structures, while Cu2+ complex has tetrahedral geometry. The ligand and its Co2+, Ni2+, and Cu2+ complexes were applied as an antifungal against a set of root rot-associated soil-born phytopathogenic fungi and compared with the effect of Hatric (recommended fungicide). The authors’ findings revealed that the metal complexes exhibited greater antifungal activity than the parent ligand. The Cu2+ complex is the most effective compound The effect of Hatric and Cu2+ complex on structural alterations of Fusarium semitectum was studied by SEM.
