On August 11, 1977, Casals, Jose Bou published a patent.Category: pyrimidines The title of the patent was Stable injection potentiated sulfonamide preparations. And the patent contained the following:
Stable injectable potentiated sulfonamide preparations comprise a sulfonamide diethanolamine salt, a sulfonamide potentiator salt, and a solvent mixture of 10-50 parts H2O, 15-30 parts propylene glycol [57-55-6], and 20-40 parts N-methylpyrrolidone [872-50-4]. The solutions have pH 5.5-7.5. For example, 30 mL N-methylpyrrolidone was added to a solution of diaveridin lactate [64191-45-3] (from 4 g diaveridin and 5 g lactic acid) in 10 mL H2O. This solution was added to a solution of sulfafurazole diethanolamine salt (I) [4299-60-9] (from 20 g sulfafurazole) in 20 mL H2O and 20 mL propylene glycol, and the pH was adjusted to 6.7-7.0. Phenylcarbazole (1 mL) was added, and the solution was diluted to 100 mL with propylene glycol, filter-sterilized, and placed in ampuls. The high H2O content decreased the tissue damage at the injection site after i.m. administration. The experimental process involved the reaction of 5-(3,4,5-Trimethoxybenzyl)pyrimidine-2,4-diamine 2-hydroxypropanoate(cas: 23256-42-0).Category: pyrimidines
